The band was formed in 2005 in Gyõr, Hungary. Nikson is punkrock / melodycore spiced with poppish vocals. The band started to work hard on their career in october of 2006 when they recorded they first demo. The demo/EP called „Somewhere Between Here and There” had great feedbacks from people all over Hungary and from other coutries worldwide. They first full-lenght LP album „So Far From Home” has been released in 2008 october in Hungary and in the United States of America. Nikson is a live band playing aprox. 40 shows yearly and tries to get everywhere in the globe. Nikson played in Germany and going to an UK tour in the summer of 2009. Nikson have been sponsored by the hungarian distributor of Famous Stars & Starps and Underground Store (Clothing). They have gained the attention of many people. The guys had no help. They’ve built up their own contacts and fan-base by themselves and gained friendbands. They work really hard.
