STATE:CHAOS, posted in the South of The Netherlands, was founded by guitarist Mischa early 2006. After a short time of searching the line-up was completed with well experienced musicians from amongst others Callenish Circle and Desensitised. A firm base was set to make music every member likes the most.
Brutal music, brutal actions. STATE:CHAOS is well known for their energetic live performance and the ability to get every crowd going wild. Their mixture of raw thrash metal, a healthy dose of melody and the fact that they stick with aggressive and even more aggressive vocals, makes this band rise over the masses in this genre.
STATE:CHAOS´ music is a mid to fast paced adventure, with many elements from the modern Scandinavian death metal and the older Bay Area thrash metal working well together. Solid drumming and bass parts, insane tight riffing, solos that almost have the passion of Dimebag Darrell and a wide variety of grunts and screams makes STATE:CHAOS´ chemistry one of a kind.
In the end of 2006 STATE:CHAOS recorded that chemistry at the already legendary Toneshed Studios by Erwin Hermsen and named it “Ashes of Misery”. Their demo-CD receives positive reactions from both press and fans of the genre. Since then a nice list of live performances follows, with highlights as performing on the well visited festival Urpop (2.000 people) and a mini-tour with Swedish thrashers Impious!
